If either or both partners are from outside the EU/Schengen Area but reside in an EU/Schengen country.
If you have children together, you will need to provide proof, such as original birth certificates.
If one or both partners are in military service, they will need to obtain permission to marry from their commanding officer or provide their Military Orders as proof of authorization.
The documents required to marry in Denmark are generally straightforward compared to other countries, but there are some additional considerations. You may need to provide translations or legalize certain documents, and it’s crucial to be mindful of the validity period of your ‘Certificate of Marital Status,’ also called “Prøvelsesattest” in Danish, which specifies when you are permitted to marry in Denmark.
